Choose India for your Holidays

Looking for a change of scenery for the holidays? India is a beautiful country that is guaranteed to be a wonderful adventure. The food, culture, and history of India are so enthralling. Choose India for your next vacation if you are ready to discover something entirely new.

A Country with Many Facets

India has a lot to offer you on many levels. India is made up of several states, each with its own language, culture, and landscape. Whether you are looking for an urban adventure or an outdoor escape, India has something to offer everyone. The country is huge, so don't expect to see everything on your first trip. We recommend picking one city or a small region to discover so that you get to fully dive into the local experience. To find out more about what India is famous for, then keep on reading!

Unique & Various

India is the second largest country in the world after China with 1.3 billion inhabitants. While the US is about 3 times larger than India, India indeed has almost 1 billion more people than the USA. With so many people, it is natural that India is characterized by a multitude of micro-cultures. Thus, depending on the region you will visit, you will discover different ways of life, different gastronomies, religions, and architectural influences. Within regions, life is organized in a completely different way. In the state of Maharashtra, for example, depending on whether you visit a giant megalopolis like Mumbai (which has about 13 million inhabitants) or a city a little further away like Bandra, you will face fascinating differences.

Extraordinary Religious and Architectural Heritage

India is full of citadels, forts, palaces, temples and sacred places to visit that you can visit throughout your stay. The country is mostly Hindu, but you will also find Muslims, Christians, Sikhs or Buddhists. Each of these religions attaches a unique religious heritage. India's many facets include its spiritual calling, where yoga, meditation, temples and pilgrims create a world of healing. The holy cities of Rishikesh and Haridwar in Uttrakhand are twin cities of mysticism that present a different way of life.

Exceptional Gastronomic Culture

Curry is one of the most consumed dishes in the world (and not only in India). Of course, it's not hard to see why as it is just so delicious! A land of sacred cows, India is also the country of vegetarians. Even if you're not a vegetarian, we promise you will be more than satisfied with the cuisine and head home full of new ideas for your next dishes.

Preserved Natural Heritage

Almost all Indian states have their own natural park where you can discover a breathtaking flora, but also a fauna very different from the one to which you will have been accustomed. If you have time, book a safari tour to discover the rare local animals. Why not consider a tour? You can view and book all kinds of adventure, trekking tours or even a bike trip in Leh , which make it easier and safer than ever before to see India firsthand.
