The island of Lombok lies a little to the east of Bali, and is perhaps even more blissful than its neighbour. Lombok hasn’t been hit with mass tourism like Bali has, and much of its stunning natural beauty remains largely untouched. Lombok was first popularised by Western surfers who were enchanted by the island’s warm blue waters and exciting waves. Lombok is a haven for water lovers, with beautiful waterfalls and some of the best snorkelling, swimming and diving spots in Indonesia.
To relax and unwind after all that adventure, Lombok is a beautiful location for yoga and meditation, with plenty of yoga centres popping up across the island lately.
