Tiffinware
Risham Chawla & Diane Prasad
Great gift ideas for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas, Christenings – distinctive and quirky gift ideas, our name comes from the word “Tiffin: a slight repast between breakfast and dinner;” a provincial English word introduced into India during the British Raj. The inspiration for Tiffinware developed with designs for silver condiment spoons set with semi-precious stones, which evolved into the silver plate cutlery designs to suit every budget for unique and original gifts.
The concept of interchangeable glass beads intrigues all who come across Tiffinware over the past 12 years; each piece is unique!

About Risham Chawla
Risham trained as a textile designer in London, researching Indian crafts adopted by European artisans, which led her to master craftsmen, translating traditional designs into commercially viable products developed in mixed media: textiles, jewellery, glass and silver-plate.
Her love for the unusual surfaced when she moved to India, collecting gemstones, stringing unique necklaces for friends and creating exquisite accessories.
She set up her studio in 1995.
Risham’s childhood in West Africa with the jewel colours of trade beads and fabulous fabrics, block prints, tie-dyes and the amazing Kente cloth of Ghana has been reinforced by the riot of vibrant colours seen in everyday life in India.
Her work is characterised by the bold use of colour and attention to detail – she would love to introduce colour into everyone’s lives!
