Strawberry Specials was born out of a late night conversation…you know, the ones that go “wouldn’t it be wonderful if…”

The wish list included earning a living by bringing a splash of colour and fun to daily life, to do something which would make people smile, and to work with lovely things. 

Months later Jane’s long hours and commuting were abandoned, and Strawberry Specials emerged. 

We make a great range of really high quality, original chalk boards, and acrylic message panels some of which are lovely just as artwork, but are also designed to be used as you would use a chalk board, but with a pen instead of chalk. They are perfect for your home and office, and as gifts for friends and family. We have recently added laminated table mats and coasters to our range,using some of the artwork you will find on the boards.  We have lots of plans to increase and diversify our ranges for the future, so keep watching!  

As for our name…we are lucky to live the middle of rural Somerset, where probably the best strawberries in the world are grown!  Historically, the local railway that ran through the strawberry fields collecting the strawberries was called the Strawberry Line, and the train the Strawberry Special.  Too yummy a name to pass by!

Strawberry Specials products are made in the UK from the highest quality materials, and all the artwork is commissioned or on licence from professional artists.
