Josy Flo

Josy Flo has brought style and spirit to the concept of bum bags. Everyone who has travelled, gone to a festival or just walked home late at night knows that these are indispensable bits of kit. What peace of mind to know that all your valuables are safe all the time and you have an extra arm to use for an occupation other than carrying a handbag! The Josy Flo concept is, however, so much more classy than anything seen previously; they can dress up and distinguish any outfit while simultaneously containing that safe hidden pocket.

As well as being practical , Josy Flo belts are also Fair Trade and ethical providing sustainable, fair employment to the people of Bhopal, India. They are made by Bhopal Rehabilitation, an NGO set up to help rehabilitation of people affected by The Bhopal gas tragedy which was an industrial disaster that took place at a Union Carbide pesticide plant in the Indian city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. At midnight on 3 December 1984, the plant released an estimated 42 tonnes of toxic methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas, exposing more than 500,000 people to MIC and other chemicals. The Bhopal disaster is frequently cited as the world's worst industrial disaster with over 25,000 people having died since from gas related diseases.
