Funky Jewellery and Bags
Meet the founder : About Rachel
I have a background in publishing and decided to set my own business, leading the way in promoting & selling ethical fashion accessories. This came about because I have strong feelings about the amount of clothes and accessories sold on the high street and I worry about what happens to the unsold items after each season.
If you think about it just for a minute, how long can we continue to pile up mountains of unwanted clothes, which cant even be given to charity because they just tear off too easily and the fabric can't be recycled? I feel that these practices are unsustainable in the future and so I only work with suppliers who make long-lasting products in a sustainable and ethical way. I Strongly believe in ethical fashion and assume that we cannot continue to produce and create fashion without any consideration for the aftermath.
What is our mission?
The idea that ethical fashion is unfashionable (the hemp & potato sack days!) is long gone. Today ethical fashion is fun and colourful this is the main motto behind Funky Jewellery and Bags, to bring you bold and colourful ethical fashion accessories from all over the world. Express yourself by wearing bold accessories. We chose our collection with you in mind, getting the vibes from Mumbai, Bangkok, Barcelona, Paris or London, the world is our oyster. There is a story behind each of our brand. This is not only about accessories, this is about passion behind the brands we work with and contributing to the welfare of a community of artisans and designers.
