CHH Design produces fine porcelain, bone china and glasses and uses on-glaze, glossy, translucent paints to apply the designs of Caroline Hely Hutchinson and thus create unique, stunning objects.  Suitable for that “special gift”, most pieces are presented in luxurious pink and black gift boxes.

CHH Design is a new business which was prompted by friends of Caroline requesting copies of the pieces which she had made for her own use.  The use of vibrant colours cannot help but cheer the spirit and the décor.>

CHH Design’s ethos is design, quality, luxury, functionality.

Quality - The porcelain is made to our specifications and the glasses are each hand blown.  All pieces are entirely hand painted as is evident from the finish.  The porcelain has painted layers of underlying colours and the motifs are then applied on top, as appropriate.  The glasses are painted to enhance the enjoyment of wine, while still allowing appreciation of the wine in question.

Luxury - The on-glaze paints have an immediacy which is beautiful, and each object has been painstakingly created for ones enjoyment.

Functionality - All objects have been designed to be used and appreciated on a daily basis and can withstand normal domestic dishwasher cycles.  However, hand washing will prolong the life of on-glaze paints.
