Alasdair Romanes
After experiencing a wide range of grim and ghastly jobs, I finally accepted my vocation as a schoolmaster and have been thoroughly enjoying it for 25 years. I have always enjoyed writing humorous articles for school publications and have equally loved making up stories for pupils: stories with elements of humour, absurdity and fear. Over the years I have received a mass of “Christmas Letters” from friends and the self-aggrandisement of some of these provoked me to produce and send a fictional one of my own. This eventually evolved into “Junk Male”, the story of the awful Alasdair Roseman, his families and his careers.
I thoroughly enjoy letting my slightly bizarre imagination and black sense of humour loose on the pages of my books and would love it if children and adults alike were entertained by what I write.
