You can use this fabulous panel just like a chalk board, except you use a chalk pen (supplied) instead of chalk sticks.  Or, if you like, it can grace your wall just as artwork.  But its quite happy to do double duty!  Acrylic is a lovely material, it looks like glass, but is much lighter, several times stronger, and very importantly, it won't shatter.  Our panels are printed in Calne in Wiltshire, on the back of the panel, so the whole surface can be used to write or leave messages, or just the black ends as you wish.  The surface is smooth and glossy, and a polished beveled edge finishes the look.  It is hung from a single screw (with a cap matching the board so its very discreet), and the back has silicone bumper stops to help the board hang properly on your wall, and to hold it securely while you write. Remove the writing easily with a soft damp cloth.  Acrylic can scratch, but hung safely on a wall and used as described it will stay as new for many years.  If you need to clean it (other than wiping) just use cool water and if necessary a weak solution of washing up liquid.  Wipe with a soft cloth (microfibre cloths are ideal).  You must not use any form of cleaning agent on the acrylic, it isn't necessary and could damage it.
