Commission a Portrait - "Antonia" by Award Winning Artist Glenn Phur by Koru Art & Glass Designs

This picture of "Antonia" measures approximately 40" x 40" and is handpainted using Acrylic paints on a chunky canvas.   It is an example of Glenn's Contemporary style of painting.  If you would like to commission a portrait please place an order through the Travelling Souk's normal checkout process.   You will not be charged at checkout but The Travelling Souk will contact us with your details and we will call to arrange an appointment.

Glenn's portraits are handpainted in either oil or acrylics.   In order to capture that special moment, rather than a staged pose, we arrange a photographic session with you.  We prefer to hold the session outside and will take a series of pictures of the subject in a relaxed atmosphere.   You can either visit us at our premises in Hampshire, or we are happy to travel to you.

Once the photographic session is complete Glenn will work on compositions for the paintings.  These ideas will be sent to you by email.  These visuals will give you an indication of what your finished painting will look like - generally we will supply you with between 3 and 8 visuals.  At this stage canvas sizes and media (ie: oil or acrylic) and style can be discussed and quotes can be made accordingly.

It is important to remember that this will not necessarily be the one with the most beautiful smile but Glenn will find a selection of those that will make the most interesting/arresting paintings.  If you are working towards a birthday or anniversary deadline please do let us know well in advance.

Each painting is priced differently according to size but our prices are calculated at  £1.67 per square inch - various sizes are possible, plus delivery costs (these will be quoted upon receipt of a delivery address).    Glenn has a minimum order value of £500.    Travelling  expenses are in addition to the cost of the painting and are payable upon receipt of visuals.  We also charge a 20% deposit upon confirmation of your painting choice.

Please note that Glenn's work is in high demand and there can sometimes be a long lead time before your painting can be completed.   If you have a specific anniversary or birthday we will do our best to accommodate you but it is best to bear in mind that there will be a minimum four week turnaround time from approval of visuals through to completion and delivery of your painting.  We always do our best to keep you fully informed as to when to expect your special piece to be ready.
