German silver tray with pomegranate design by Kiliza

Hand hammered copper tray in silver and nickel finishing. Features beautiful pomegranate and flower decoration on one corner with agate stones. As all other Kiliza pieces, the main material used is copper.  These stylish silver contemporary trays have a multitude of uses from serving drinks to canapes.

Pomegranate has been a recurring motif in art and literature for more than 2000 years. It is depicted in Chinese porcelains, Turkish textiles, Italian paintings, Norwegian coverlets, Spanish chests, Mexican embroideries, New Mexican colcha and in Greek mythology. Among many of its meanings, it is a symbol of fertility, birth, health and eternal life.
