These slow cooked duck legs are herb-cured and rich and flavoursome. They have excellent keeping qualities and are already matured to fully develop the flavours, although you can mature them for longer at home if you wish. 

So easy to serve, these slow cooked duck legs are perfect for a special meal or a dinner party.  They are cured with a careful blend of herbs and spices before being slow cooked in their own fat, making them a rich and unctuous dish.  To prepare for the table simply shake off the fat and fry skin-side down for a few minutes until crisp. Turn and repeat then place in a medium oven for 5-10 minutes.  Duck confit is fabulous in cassoulet, or served on puy lentils with a soft white wine sauce and seasonal vegetables.  They are sold in packs of two.
